Ripple Creek Equine Services

 

Ripple Creek is owned and operated by Trent and Sarah Yesberg. Trent and Sarah share a common vision to run one of the most innovative, sustainable and forward-thinking racing stables and equine businesses in New Zealand.

 

Based from the start in in North Canterbury and starting out as preparers for the Standardbred Yearling Sales, Ripple Creek soon expanded into racehorse training and outgrew the original property. Moving in 2017 to a purpose-built home facility in Ohoka. Trent and Sarah planned the layout from scratch: a safe, functional and modern equine facility that gives each horse the best opportunity to thrive in a specialised, hands-on environment. 

 

As the racing team grew and thoroughbreds joined the stable from 2022, a bigger track was needed and in 2023 Ripple Creek took out a stables lease at Rangiora Racecourse. 

 

 The Ohoka and Rangiora properties complement each other perfectly. Trent now has a setup where he can fully engage his talents for harness and galloping race training, as well as offering pre-training, rehab, weaning and agistment.

While Trent and his team carry out Ripple Creek's day-to-day operations, Sarah is always busy with her thriving photography business Sarah Clements Photography. A competitive rider until an accident ended her showjumping pursuits, Sarah uses her skills to great effect whenever Trent needs photographic material, including drone footage,
